1996 - 85m.

Fourth entry in the series originally based on the Stephen King short story has a small towns children becoming very sick and eventually being taken control of by the spirit of a wrongly murdered young preacher who uses them to kill and bring him back from the dead.

Director/co-writer Spence shows decent visual style but has to contend with a dopey plot and dull pace.

A bit of a let-down after the entertaining third part this is an instantly forgettable and pretty tedious sequel.
