1996 - 104m.

Tongue-in-cheek Ohio-lensed low-budgeter has a hack reporter looking into the murders of many young women and finding they are the work of a Satanic cult out to bring Lucifer back to Earth.

So-so independent fare tends to be a bit too talky and is too tame for horror fans but has enough of a sense of humour about itself to be an okay, if passable, time. Enough titilation, chuckles and grandstanding Satanism to be amusing in a low-budget sort of way.

Probably the only movie where someone's cell phone rings during a sacrificial ceremony.
