In the near future after a comet has collided on the moon and caused it to orbit closer to Earth, a fair share of the human population start turning into werewolves. Santo Marotta (who co-wrote) is a real werewolf who has to take-on brother Joe Zaso, who wants to take over New York with his minions.
Director/co-writer Lindenmuth always comes up with interesting concepts for his movies but they usually are betrayed by overly cheap production values, wooden acting and "blah" effects. The two leads do okay, the location shooting is suitably run-down and grungy; and it's a cool premise but it's a misfire, be it a good try.
Think 70's low-brow Godzilla and you'll get an idea of the final werewolf battle.
